Muscle Moods features the female physique photography and video of David Kippen.
David has a B.A. in Film and Television production and has spent the last 24
years in every aspect of Television and Film production. Cutting his teeth in
the 80’s in Southern California, David worked as a P.A. Assistant
Director, Production Manager, Cameraman, Producer and Director. Currently David
operates Velocity Post, a high-end post-production company specializing on
projects ranging form Music Videos to TV Commercials and Corporate Image to
Infomercials. Some of David’s clients include HBO, MTV, E!, GM, Broadway
Video, ESPN, Viacom, Hasbro, MGA and many more.
David started as a photographer as a teenager and has always had a creative
flair and a keen eye for detail. Moving into motion photography was a natural
progression. David’s Mother was an artist and antique dealer and
instilled in him a love of art. “She taught me that art comes in many
fashions and mediums, old, new, furniture, photography, canvass, etc….
That even if it isn’t my personal taste it is still beautiful to someone.
But taking the time to do it right was as important as the art itself.”
She loved the theatre and especially ballet, and it was there that David first
gained an appreciation of the developed female form.
“I try to combine my love of the athletic female body, my creativity, and
my quality production values in my photography and video. As I move forward
with Muscle Moods you can expect to see a little of everything. I’ve
started with a couple of competition offerings, but I will have a line of
videos I call Sexy Flexing. I love a beautiful women, who can raise eyebrows or
stop traffic with a flex of her arm. The site will be filled with female
athletes in both motion and still photography highlighting the mood of each
individual at the time of the shoot. I hope you enjoy the site.”
Muscle Moods is dedicated to the loving memory of David’s parents, Alvin
& Ruth Kippen. They both passed away in a 3 month span at the end of 2004.
“I miss you.”
